ARMENIAN DUDUK SIRETSI YARIS TARAN (They Took My Beloved Away)/nSearching for Martin Ghazaryan prompted me to prepare and post this clip, so if one knows of his whereabouts to let me know. I have been trying to locate him for the past 3 years with no success. I believe, he has made a recording of an audio CD in Chelyabinsk of Russia to the best of my knowledge ! He plays Duduk, like no one I ever heard; and I have heard almost everything. In my opinion, he could be considered one of the masters of duduk in the world and a playing spirit only equal to master Djivan Gasparyan(Jivan Gasparian). It is a shame that such a talented master Duduk player goes unnoticed, unknown and nowhere to be found ! I only have a 10 track audio CD dated 2003, recorded somewhere in Russia, perhaps Chelyabinsk ! A CD cover in Russian titled "Duduk Sings", AND HIS DOES, MIND YOU ! Arranged by Narek Gegamyan, Accordion by Armen Janikyan, drums by Vahan Gegamyan, sound director, Ruslan Bajhok. When I first heard this CD in a little outfit downtown Yerevan, I could not believe my ears; the sound was heavenly...
