Description

Civilitas Connects 'HERE' Film. Lars Knudsen is a New York based film producer who recently traveled to Armenia for four months, producing the film HERE, directed by Braden King. The film chronicles a relationship between an expatriate Armenian photographer and an American satellite-mapping engineer, who together, travel and explore the Armenian native homeland. Braden King, through this film, attempts to discover the heart of the land, which is the land and the people, of Armenia. The film production is comprised of 38 individuals from all over the world, half of which are ethnic Armenians. Throughout their project, crewmembers have been able to better familiarize themselves with the Armenian people and Republic, as well as finding themselves as individuals and appreciating their surroundings. Knudsen, himself, decided to travel to Armenia so as to escape everyday life in Western society, to rediscover himself, and to be apart of a beautiful script and project such as this.
